A small project with a big impact!
TheWyndham Vale Community Learning Centre encourages the integration of various youth services into an existing library and community centre, based upon an initiative run by the local city council to improve youth services delivery at the facility.
The architectural intent focused on livening up the interior spaces to allow improved integration between the youth within this space. Natural light is king, and thus the centrepiece of the refurbishment was a new skylight over the newly-designed reception desk. Acoustic treatment, furthermore, was done to reduce the impact of adjacent community services within the same building.
